About Daniel Romanelli M.D., FAAOS
Daniel Romanelli M.D., FAAOS, education and experience have allowed him to become well-versed in his field and practice. He brings this competence and expertise to RIME and forensic orthopaedic expert witnessing. Dr. Romanelli began his education at UCLA where he earned a bachelor’s degree before attending New York Medical College to gain his medical degree. His fellowship training was then completed at Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Surgery in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Romanelli is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine.
Ever since becoming board certified, Dr. Romanelli has vastly enhanced his honorable mentions. He has been in private practice for 20 years. For the last 6 years he has been involved in Forensic Orthopaedic Expert Witnessing in the state of New Mexico. He has also been an IME provider for the last 8 years. Dr. Romanelli served as one of the Team Physicians for the U.S National Soccer team from 2002-2013. He is currently the New Mexico delegate for American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine (AOSSM).
Dr. Romanelli serves as an orthopaedic consultant for NMSU Athletics and for Las Cruces area high schools. He also serves as Volunteer Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics for the University of New Mexico School of Medicine’s orthopaedic clinical rotations located in Las Cruces, NM. Dr. Romanelli is appointed as the Program Director of the Mountain View Orthopaedic Residency. He recently was appointed as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery of Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine at New Mexico State University.
He is a member of SEAK, a leading provider of expert witness training, a consulting company and provider of continuing education. SEAK trains physicians, and expert witnesses among other professions. Dr. Romanelli is on their directory of Expert Medical Witnesses and IME providers.
